Send an email to dbec@pondside.uchicago.edu with the word Registration in the subject line.
The body of the message should contain five lines (click here for an example):
1 - Name
2 - Institution / Affiliation
3 - Position (faculty, post-doc, professional, student, tech)
4 - Are you submitting an abstract? (yes / no) (Abstracts must be in by Sept. 20th)
5 - (For students and techs) If you so desire, please submit the names of three of the
invited speakers (comma delimited, please) with whom you would like to dine on Friday night. (Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferences, but selections cannot be guaranteed.)
Conference fees can then be paid by sending a check payable to The University of Chicago, with 'dbec 2005' on the memo line to:

NOTE: Your registration will not be finalized until payment is received. We can accomodate 200 attendees at this year's conference. As such, we encourage you to send your payment as soon as possible in order to secure your spot.
Registration fees include: admission to all talks and poster sessions, lunch on Friday and Saturday, an evening reception on Thursday at the Smart Museuum of Art, Friday night dinner at the home of a student host (for student and tech registrants), as well as Saturday evening dinner at the Quad Club.
