Authors and affiliation: 11-point Times New Roman, do not bold.
Text: 11-point Times New Roman, do not bold.

FORMAT

Margins: one inch all around.
Type: Indicate if you would like to present a poster or talk
Title:
capitalize first word only.
Authors: first initial, last name. Indicate the presenting author with an *.
Affiliation: Department, Institution, City, State, Country.
Text: Body should be single spaced, with the first line indented. 200 to 250 words. 250 words is the absolute maximum; submissions longer than this cannot be accepted.

Please indicate if you wish to give a talk or poster at the top of your abstract as well as in the subject line of your e-mail. We will make every attempt to comply with the choice, but space and time limitations may prevent this compliance. When notification of abstract acceptance is sent, you will be informed if it were possible to accomodate your preference.

When complete, e-mail your abstract as an attachment in rich text format (.rtf) to dbec@pondside.uchicago.edu with the word Abstract in the subject line.

POSTERS:

Posters should be no larger than 3'W X 4'H.

TALKS:

Concurrent talks should be timed to be no longer than 12 minutes. Please practice your talk to be sure that you do not exceed the alloted time, as time limits will be strictly enforced in order to allow attendees to go between sessions. There will be three minutes for questions following the talks. Any slides should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint.
